Sarco. hartmannii 'George x Perfect Circle'
Club Activities:
This has become an Annual Show event with a sit down meal (BYO) catered for at cost.
It is held usually in late October to cater for those Sarcochilus plants that are in flower at this time of the year. In S.A. because of prevailing weather conditions there are not many of these plants benched at Shows so a seperate night conducted by an Emcee has been provided for those members who wish to attend. A Trophy is provided by the Club for the BEST plant benched as selected by 3 to 4 panels of judges.
A popular vote is also conducted with the Members and Guests present selecting their choice
by number ballot and a Trophy is also provided for this.
Several raffles are conducted thoughout the evening providing excellent prizes of plants and
wines etc.

A quality speaker usually from interstate is provided talking on the growing and culture of these wonderful plants.
Some 80 plus members usually attend with bookings tight. Around 100 plants are usually
benched for members to admire.
